Deposit & Payment Schedule

*50% of the total cost of the trip is required to secure your reservation, unless otherwise arranged with KAR Safaris. * The remaining balance is due 120 days prior to start of a tour. *If you are registering within 120 days of the tour, full payment is due upon sign-up. * If you are pre-registering for a trip where full details, such as final price and dates are not yet known, a $500 refundable deposit is due to hold your place until full details are known. Once details are released, you will have 14 days to determine if you would like to to secure the remainder of the deposit or receive a refund. KAR Safaris will send a paypable invoice via Square which uses a secured bank transfer. If you would like to use a credit card, 3% fee will be applied. Alternatively, we accept other payment methods such as a check, Venmo, Zelle, etc. Please indicate how you would like to secure your deposit and we will contact you with details.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance and you need to cancel your trip, KAR Safaris will make an effort to find a replacement for your spot on the trip. If we are able to re-fill your spot, a refund in the amount received from the individual replacing you will be issued. If we are unable to re-fill your spot, then all deposits/payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. KAR Safaris highly recommends trip insurance for all tours to protect you against unforeseen circumstances.
